Who is DoseOwl designed for?
DoseOwl supports people managing their own medication, Care Recipients who benefit from a simpler experience, and the family members or caregivers helping them stay on track.
What is a Care Circle?
A Care Circle is the trusted group helping one Care Recipient. The person organizing care can invite others, choose an access level and remove access when it is no longer needed.
Do reminders still work without a connection?
Scheduled dose reminders are created locally on the Care Recipient’s iPhone. DoseOwl also keeps a local cache and synchronizes shared updates when a connection is available.
How does stock tracking work?
For supported medication forms, DoseOwl can subtract confirmed doses from the current stock, record refills and warn when supply is low. The count can always be reconciled manually.
What is included for free?
Core medication safety stays free: one managed Care Recipient and Care Circle, reminders, raw dose history, basic stock tracking and stock warnings. Premium adds up to five managed people, CSV export, comparative insights and advanced stock forecasting.

No. DoseOwl helps organize information and reminders; it does not diagnose, prescribe or replace a clinician or pharmacist. Medication instructions should always come from a qualified professional.
