Terms of Use

These terms govern use of DoseOwl. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and Apple's terms for your device and purchases.

Important: DoseOwl is an organizational aid, not a medical device or emergency service. Always follow instructions from a qualified clinician or pharmacist. Call local emergency services when urgent help is needed.

Using DoseOwl

You may use DoseOwl only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of schedules, stock counts, contacts, and other information you enter, and for checking that reminders and notifications are configured as intended.

Accounts and shared care

Core features may be used anonymously. Sign in with Apple is required for sharing, Premium purchase, and cross-device recovery. Keep access to your device and Apple account secure. Only invite people who should see the care information involved, choose the least access they need, and remove access when it is no longer appropriate.

Free and Premium features

Free includes one managed person and Care Circle, basic reminders and stock warnings, raw dose history, basic inventory, account access, and account deletion. Premium adds multiple-person management within the displayed limit, comparative or aggregate insights, CSV export, and advanced stock forecasting. Existing health records are not deleted or hidden if Premium ends; only new Premium-only creation or analysis may be restricted.

Subscriptions

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
  • The price, billing period, and total billed amount are shown before purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account settings and restore eligible purchases in DoseOwl.

Availability and changes

Reminders and synchronization can be affected by device settings, connectivity, Apple services, maintenance, and circumstances outside DoseOwl's control. Do not rely on DoseOwl as the only safeguard for time-critical medication. DoseOwl may change the service to improve safety, compatibility, or legal compliance and will provide notice when a change materially affects your rights.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, upload unlawful content, impersonate another person, probe other accounts, or use DoseOwl to cause harm. Access may be suspended when reasonably necessary to protect people or the service.

Ownership and feedback

DoseOwl and its software, design, and branding are protected by intellectual-property law. You retain rights in information you provide and grant DoseOwl the limited permission needed to process it for the service. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, DoseOwl is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. DoseOwl is not liable for treatment decisions, inaccurate user-entered information, missed notifications, or indirect and consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

Ending use

You may stop using DoseOwl and delete your account at any time. Terms that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, lawful retention, disclaimers, and dispute provisions—continue after termination.
